Sorrosal Canyon, the great Waterfall of Broto

The Sorrosal Canyon is located in Broto, where the canyon ends with a spectacular waterfall of 100 meters known as the “Cascada de Sorrosal”.

It is a short but intense canyon, only suitable for people with experience in canyoning and with a good rappel technique.

The Sorrosal Canyon has several large jumps of up to 10 meters and very vertical slides. The final waterfall is divided into three rappels (10 + 45 + 45), being the most technical part of the canyon.

The first part of the canyon is very dynamic and aquatic, where practically all the waterfalls can be jumped or slid down. The second part, the Sorrosal waterfall is very aerial and technical, which requires a good handling of ropes.

In terms of landscape it is a TOP canyon, where we will find stratified rock corridors (Flysch), pools and magnificent views of the Ordesa Valley and the village of Broto.

  • From 16 years old
  • Knowing how to swim and not having vertigo
  • Normal physical condition
