The duration of the Rafting in the Pyrenees is 2h for the family section and 3h for the adult section.

Q: Is it possible to do the Rafting activity in the rain?

Yes, rafting in the Pyrenees is regulated by a dam upstream. If the storm is thunderstorm or of great intensity, then the activity will have to be cancelled or delayed. The rafting company is the responsible and knowledgeable one, so it is the one who will make this decision.

Q: Is there water in summer in Rafting?

Yes, in summer there is water in the Benasque Rafting because it is coordinated with the water releases of the hydroelectric plant.

In Rafting in the Pyrenees we have two different sections: Rafting for adults “Piramides” is for people over 14 years old and the family Rafting “La Silla” is designed for children from 8 to 13 years old, although adults can also do it.

Where is the Rafting descent?

The Rafting descent in the Pyrenees that we propose is located in the Benasque Valley, in the village of Campo.

Only 20 minutes from Ainsa by good road, or 25 minutes from Benasque.

Yes, all family members will start with the family rafting. When you reach the beginning of the adult rafting section, the little ones will get off and you will take them to the end of the adult section.

How long does the Rafting activity in the Pyrenees last?

In the Rafting de Campo tour, we differentiate between two sections: La Silla (family) and Pirámides (adults).

The Family Rafting activity (La Silla) has a duration of 2 hours, of which 1h30 are in the water. It has a route of 8 km of river and is Class II.

The Rafting activity for adults (La Silla + Pyramids) has a duration of 3 hours, of which 2h30 are in the water. It has a route of 6 km of river and is Class III / IV (depending on the water).

Is it possible to do the Rafting activity in the rain?

Yes, rafting in the Pyrenees is regulated by a dam upstream. If the storm is thunderstorm or of great intensity, then the activity will have to be cancelled or delayed.

The rafting company is the responsible and knowledgeable one, so it is the one who will make this decision.

Is there water in summer in Rafting?

Yes, Rafting flow in summer is achieved thanks to water releases from a hydroelectric dam located in Benasque.

The production of electricity is coordinated with the rafting descent schedules, obtaining an ideal flow rate even in summer.

In drier years, the hydroelectric plant may take some restriction measures. In these dry years, it has been agreed to restrict water releases on Thursdays and Sundays in August.
