Ainsa, a charming medieval village
Ainsa is one of the most beautiful villages in the Pyrenees and is strategically located from where we can access the main valleys of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido.
The walls of the medieval castle and its old town are a must-see, where we will travel to another era and enjoy its cobblestone streets.
The Museum of Traditional Arts and Crafts, the Ecomuseum of the Pyrenean fauna and the Geopark Space, will help us to complete our visit.
From Ainsa we have the Ordesa Valley at 40 km, the Añisclo Canyon at 15 km, the Pineta Valley at 35 km and the Sierra de Guara at 35 km. That is why Ainsa is considered as a neuralgic point of canyoning.

The Viandico Canyon is the king of kings, being a canyon accessible to all without any forced passage. It is located in the heart of the Añisclo Canyon.
The impressive road that runs along the lower part of the Añisclo Canyon until reaching the San Úrbez Hermitage, will allow us to observe the magic of this place.
The Miraval Canyon is another of the essential canyons of the Monte Perdido Massif. It is one of the most aquatic and most fun canyons in the Pyrenees, with plenty of jumps and without abseiling.
If we want more tranquility we can opt for the Irués or Yesa Superior Canyons , more solitary because you have to walk more but also with exceptional landscapes.
