This Saturday we had a bachelor party who wanted to have a unique experience in the area of Ordesa and Monte Perdido. We organized a fantastic day where in the morning we did the Forcos canyon, had lunch at the Asador de Fiscal and ended up jumping on the new zip line of Fiscal.
Although it may seem like a lot of activities in one day, the schedules worked out perfectly and it was a 10 day event, both in organization and fun.
Timing of the day
- 8:30h : Meeting at the Alto Pirineo guides office in Ainsa. We introduce the guides and test the material.
- 9:00h to 9:45h : We move to Bergua, including a stop in Fiscal, to buy water.
- 10:00h to 14:30h : Descent of the Forcos initiation canyon.
- 14:45h to 15:00h : Transfer to Asador de Fiscal
- 15:00h to 17:00h : We ate the Cider House Menu
- 17:30h to 18:30h : Fiscal Zip Line
Forcos Canyon
The Forcos canyon is a very fun and aesthetic canyon for beginners. It is located in Bergua, 9 km from Fiscal, so it is ideal for those groups who want to do canyoning from Jaca or Ainsa. It is a canyon accessible to everyone as it has no difficult steps, even for people who have vertigo. We will find several jumps and slides always optional, where flooded corridors alternate with walking sections.
In terms of landscape we can say that the first corridor is one of the most beautiful corners of the Pyrenees, where the mosses and waterfalls falling on us with the original shapes of the Flysh strata, will give us the feeling that we are in a magical world.
Fiscal Rotisserie
El Asador de Fiscal is one of those restaurants that if you are in the area you can not miss. It is important that you always make a reservation because otherwise it is easy to not find a place, even if it is out of season. For us it is a guarantee to send groups here, since we know that they will be delighted and that we will meet the schedules.
In terms of food, to highlight the beef steak, which is their specialty and can not miss in your choices. Besides, all the dishes are made with love and presented with affection. They have a magnificent terrace with lawn, lights and swimming pool, but don’t worry, for cooler nights or stormy days, the dining room is also spacious and pleasant.

Ordesa Zip Line
To finish the day and leaving a little time to digest, we have scheduled one of the activities that have become more fashionable in the area, the Ordesa Zip Line. This zip line is the fastest in Spain reaching 160 km / h, in its almost two kilometers of travel.
The truth is that it is a unique experience and just start we climb to the top of the mountain in 4×4. Once all the instructions have been explained by the guides and properly equipped, it is time for the climax of the activity, where we will get all the adrenaline we still had left and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Fiscal valley from a bird’s eye view. Totally recommended if you are on vacation in the Pyrenees and is accessible to all.
