SALCORZ CANYON

Level 4 | EXPERT Level | Requires good physical fitness and previous canyoning experience.

Salcorz Canyon, the most alpine of them all

The Salcorz Canyon is a high mountain technical canyon located very close to the Bielsa tunnel, in the high valleys of Bielsa.

It is an open and very alpine canyon with a drop of 400 meters, where there are a total of 19 rappels and being the 48-meter rappel, the highest and most elegant rappel of the descent. All the rappels are natural anchorages without any expansion in the whole canyon.

The Salcorz Canyon is ideal for people with a good rappel technique (they must be autonomous) and have experience in canyoning.

The Salcorz Canyon is an adventure canyon and very alpine, since its beginning is more than 2,000 meters above sea level. Its open character will provide good views of the high valleys of Bielsa.

We will have 1 hour of steep climb approaching the path that goes up to the Ibones de Salcorz, always through the forest.
