Vero Canyon, the Great classic of the Sierra de Guara
The Vero Canyon is one of the great classics of the Sierra de Guara, for its beauty, history and grandeur.
The Vero Canyon is an easy tour where there is no forced passage and there is no rappel. It is 6 km long where it makes its way between huge walls and the contact with the water is constant.
During the descent we will find 4 large rock chaos (accumulation of large blocks of rock), where jumps, slides and siphons are formed (always optional).
The Vero Canyon is ideal for those who really value the scenery, and like to walk. It is not a canyon of big jumps but of great moments.
Undoubtedly it is an essential canyon if we want to do canyoning in the Sierra de Guara.

Did you know that you can also do half of the Vero Canyon?
For less sporty groups such as families or groups of friends of all levels, there is the option of doing half of the descent. In this option, we can enjoy the magic and beauty of the Vero Canyon, making a circular route from Alquézar.
We will do the last two canyons of the Vero Canyon, which are the largest, being about 3 hours in the water. It is a good option for those groups who want a not so long activity and do not want to miss one of the best canyons of the Sierra de Guara.
The Vero Canyon from Ainsa or from Alquézar
The Vero Canyon is located just halfway between Alquézar and Ainsa, so it can be done whether you are staying in the Pyrenees or in the Sierra de Guara.
